And why yes it is Florida

So that’s 3500 less Nissans in the world? Good.

Actually, the insurance payout works out great for the rental companies, as opposed to just having the cars sit and rot for the next ~2 years.
I doubt these cars will be replaced, not that anything is being manufactured to replace them anyway.

Somewhat amazing that it could get that huge when you’ve got a fire department on site, and a decent number of people around to spot it. I guess it’s not clear how close this overflow is to the airport.

I was gonna say, certain type of dealers who sell a lot of Versas/Sentras/Altimas are going to be in a world of hurt.

If I had a fleet of Nissans, I’d torch them for the insurance money, too.

I wonder what the pollution map will look like now since so many places are showing little to no pollution since the shutdown.

Excuse me, Mr, E90M3, what were you doing on the night of Friday, April 3rd?

I’m fairly sure that is not the correct way to clean a Covid-19 infected vehicle...

Effective, though.

One news report said it was largely “Chargers” and other fleet full size, but I don’t know if that report was accurate.

“ Oh what a shame the cars are packed so tightly the hoses can’t reach”

Part of me wondered why rental cars were parked in a field, but I suppose the number of parking spots maintained by the companies at airports is premised around a certain percentage of the fleet always being out in use.

You gotta think in Orlando 3500 is probably a days inventory for one rental place. They’re not set up to have all these idle cars.

Don’t worry.... they’ll be replaced with more Nissans...
